European Enterprise Awards 2010 with DevScope attendance

The European Enterprise Awards 2010 took place in Centro Cultural de Belém on last February 10th with DevScope attendance.

DevScope was nominated for the category “Development of Business Environment” through the “Portal Executivo” solution, held in partnership with APDL. The Awards are promoted by the European Commission with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurship in different regions of Europe and are intended as a tribute to the best practices in several areas, contributes to creating an environment conducive to sustainable development of economies.This project was selected among the several winners that will represent Portugal in the European Contest, which takes place in Madrid in May.

Portugal was for the 3rd consecutive time the second country that had more applications for this initiative, with a total of 44 projects submitted and DevScope is one of them.
European Enterprise Awards showcase and share examples of best entrepreneurship policies and practices; to create a higher awareness of the role entrepreneurs play in society and to encourage and inspire potential entrepreneurs.

Rui Barbosa, DevScope Founder and Rui Paupério, General Manager together with APDL President had the pleasure of receiving the certificate by IAPMEI President and Joanna Drake, EU director for the Promotion of the Competitiveness of SMEs, European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry .
